  1. The Cayman Islands National U-17 girls team played their first game in the CONCACAF Women’s U-17 Championship against Dominica with a 8-1 win. To see the girls take on Martinique tonight, head down to Truman Bodden Sports Complex. 
     
  2. Congratulations to Reshma Sharma who was this week appointed as Cayman’s new Solicitor General following an open recruitment process. 
     
  3. Good luck to the five Miss Teen Cayman Islands contestants who are sashed and ready for this year’s pageant taking place on Saturday at the Lion Centre. 
     
  4. Facebook has launched a new tool this week to test Playable Ads. Developers can now check an ad’s call-to-action implementation before uploading it to Facebook. 
     
  5. The Prospect Red Bay Community Group has set out to collect school supplies for children in need before the new academic year. Supplies will be distributed among students at Prospect and Red Bay primary schools.
