Abby Hydes joined Tower’s team as a Marketing Assistant in mid-July. She attended The University of Chester where she graduated with a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with Creative Writing.
During her four summers at home in the Cayman Islands, Abby interned at Cayman 27 where she worked with the reporters and production team and gained valuable insight into Cayman’s media industry.
At Cayman 27, Abby was given the opportunity to produce and host her own weekly celebrity news segment within the Friday evening news. She also researched and produced several news segments that made it to air.
Abby was born in Cayman and hails proudly from West Bay. She is a bookworm and a dancer, and was a member of the dance society during university. When she isn’t at work, Abby is either spending time with family and friends and enjoying Cayman’s social scene or catching up on her reading list.
