Tower was instrumental in the creation of Cayman Finance in 2003, when it began life as the Cayman Islands Financial Services Association. As Cayman Finance’s agency, we are routinely asked to provide the news media and many financial industry conferences, both locally and internationally, up-to-the-minute information on issues affecting Cayman’s financial services sector. The importance of this role has been magnified tremendously by the events of the last two years and the international focus on offshore financial centres and their relation to global taxation issues. Having just celebrated its 10th anniversary, Cayman Finance has greatly increased its activity in the areas of public affairs and public relations, and in developing relations with foreign governments and media.
The inaugural Cayman Finance Magazine – the Future of Finance – was submitted to the Caribbean Advertising Federation ADDY Awards and earned Silver in the Magazine Design category. The 104-page magazine features snapshots of the Cayman Islands economy and its key sectors, as well as topics from thought-leaders and experts, giving readers an oversight as to the depth of services offered within the Cayman Islands. The magazine is distributed globally through conferences and an important promotional tool for strategic marketing of Cayman’s economy.
