5 things you need to know this week – July 26
- The only thing a golfer needs is more daylight. Luckily for us, Cayman Golf Lab
has made those extra hours of daylight possible with its two indoor
SkyTrak golf simulators, which are programmed with more than 30,000 real
life golf courses scattered across the globe!
- The Cayman Islands National Robotics Team
will take on the robotics arena by storm in the first Global Challenge
Robotics event in Dubai this October! With over 186 countries
represented and 75 teams in attendance we look forward to seeing how our
talented youth take on the international competition.
- Cayman’s very own Sara Collins will be signing her world renowned book, “The Confessions of Frannie Langton: A Novel” today at Book & Books in Camana Bay from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
- As the saying goes, ‘it’s about the journey not the destination’ however, in this case it’s all about the destination, because Caribbean Airways is set to begin running non-stop flights between Jamaica and Cayman!
- Congratulations to Academy Sports Club
who took the 2019 USA Cup by the horns and triumphed with both the U12
Boys team winning their Gold Division and the U12 Girls team taking home
the Silver division.
