Wyndham Reef Resort is proud to play a “leading role” in this weekend’s hotly anticipated CayFilm Cayman International Film Festival.
The resort will host a number of working Hollywood professionals who are visiting Grand Cayman for the 3 day festival which features over 130 individual events including screenings, workshops, seminars and social events.
Mr Kel Thompson, Managing Director, Wyndham Reef Resort, said as a ‘leading role’ sponsor, Wyndham was pleased to welcome guests of CayFilm to Grand Cayman’s beautiful East End and he looked forward to extending warm Caymanian hospitality to the visiting professionals.
“CayFilm provides a great opportunity for visiting actors, producers and filmmakers to experience Cayman’s stunning scenery and exotic flora and fauna, and to consider the Cayman Islands as a backdrop for their future projects,” he said.
The festival will close with a cocktail reception on Sunday evening, also hosted by Wyndham Reef Resort.
Resort Director, Mr Gaetan Babin said the reception would bring visiting film makers and professionals together to celebrate a successful festival and spend an evening discussing the potential to bring more film projects to the Cayman Islands.
“We are pleased to see several guests have extended their stays at the resort beyond the end of the festival in order to fully enjoy everything the idyllic Cayman Islands have to offer.”
The Wyndham Reef Resort Grand Cayman, formerly The Reef Resort, is situated at East End and became part of the Wyndham brand this year, following physical renovations and changes to internal systems and procedures.
Located in East End in Grand Cayman, the Wyndham Reef Resort features studio, 1 and 2 bedroom suites, on 1,600 feet of pristine beach front. Every suite has uninterrupted views of the Caribbean Sea.
