Wyndham Flowers SwimWyndham Reef Resort, was proud to sponsor this weekend’s 2015 Flowers’ Sea Swim and to host Olympic gold medalist, Scott Goldblatt at the Resort.

On Saturday 13th June, almost 900 registrants took to the waters of Grand Cayman’s famous Seven Mile Beach for the one mile swim, which has previously been named one of the World’s top 13 open water swims. The annual Sea Swim is open to all ages and ability levels, from first timers through to Gold Medal winning Olympians.

Mr Scott Goldblatt, an American former competition swimmer won a gold medal at the Athens Olympics in 2004 and a silver medal at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. He placed 40th out of 862 swimmers in Saturday’s event.

In addition to hosting Scott Goldblatt, the Wyndham Reef Resort also donated to this year’s Flowers’ Sea Swim a number of prizes, including Resort stays and restaurant vouchers.
