Cayman Finance recently announced it will be hosting a breakfast seminar in New York City on Tuesday 14 January 2014, at which the Honourable Wayne Panton, Minister of Financial Services, will attend.
Businesses in Cayman with New York-based clients are urged to secure their spot at this event well ahead of time, as the seminar will prove to be a unique opportunity for Cayman entities and their clients to have a first-hand account of how Cayman Finance and the Government see the industry progressing in 2014.
Cayman Finance CEO Gonzalo Jalles is delighted to see the relationship between Cayman’s public and private sectors strengthen in this way.
“In November this year Cayman Finance and the Ministry of Financial Services signed a Memorandum of Understanding that formalized our relationship, solidifying the work already undertaken between our two entities in the previous months leading up to the agreement,” he confirmed. “This seminar will give some of Cayman’s most important clients access to representatives from both the Ministry and Cayman Finance itself, offering them the chance to understand how we operate as a single voice promoting the jurisdiction worldwide. It will be a unique networking opportunity that should not be missed.”
The seminar will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the St. Regis Hotel, New York, 2 East 55th Street at Fifth Avenue. Both Cayman Finance member and non-member firms are encouraged to confirm seating by sponsoring a corporate table.
