Tenet Healthcare Corporation has signalled its fullest commitment to Cayman’s healthcare, with its Premium Plus sponsorship of the 2013 Cayman Islands Healthcare Conference. One of the largest investor-owned healthcare delivery systems in the United States, Tenet Healthcare recently announced its intention to become a top tier sponsor at the annual healthcare conference, a commitment it has demonstrated annually since conference inception. The conference, which will feature international and local speakers who are key professionals within the healthcare industry, is taking place from 17 – 19 October, 2013 at The Ritz-Carlton.

Underscoring Tenet’s allegiance to furthering Cayman’s healthcare offering, Craig Bloom, Senior Director, Business Development at Tenet Florida says that this annual event is vital as an educational tool not only for Cayman’s healthcare professionals but for the entire community.

“This year’s theme: ‘Taking Care of Business: A Shared Approach to Workplace Wellness’ speaks to a broad section of people,” he confirms. “We encourage as many people as possible to attend and hear about how to improve their wellness in the workplace from a wide range of perspectives.”

Mr Bloom continues: “Tenet Healthcare is committed to providing high quality healthcare and we believe that continuing education is a key to achieving that goal. We want to educate caregivers and patients about the most current treatment options. We are proud to support conferences of this nature that seek to educate and inform at the highest level.”

Tenet Healthcare is a leader when it comes to the provision of quality healthcare services in the United States with extensive experience, currently overseeing 49 hospitals in 10 states, with more than 100 outpatient centres, 57,000 employees and four million outpatient visits (as of last year).
