Sheryl Martin
Sheryl takes care of all the financial and administrative stuff that goes on behind the scenes at Tower, and her superior coordination and management skills are used to supervise much of the field work for Tower’s market research projects. She is also an important member of our media monitoring and event management team.
Hailing from Jamaica, Sheryl is a good source for all things Caribbean – be it language, food, drink or how to rock to the beats.
We don’t know if Sheryl’s calm, confident, no-nonsense approach is due to her background in Cayman’s media industry or her experience as a mum to a very energetic little boy. What we do know is the Tower office runs like clockwork with Sheryl in it. Yah mon!
Just for Fun
What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas of course. I get together with my extended family. I love the exchanging of gifts, the food – especially fruit cake and wine, the music, and the decorations. Oh the entire atmosphere just feels great.
Favorite breakfast cereal when you were a kid?
Corn Flakes with sweet milk and I always had to pour a little of the milk into my hand to lick it.
Most hated chore on the household chore list?
Ironing first, washing second – from back in the days when you had to sit over a bath pan and scrub, scrub, scrub!
What is the thing your most afraid of?
Lizards, frogs, mice. I hate them, I wish they never existed!
