Cayman IT provider, Ronco has been awarded the worldwide distribution rights for innovative software, 3CEPS – a unique platform that extracts data from a document, whether a scanned image, pdf or electronic source and automates the input into an organisation’s primary software application.

Mr James McGarvey of Ronco Metrics, said there were no other products on the market that could extract data from multiple type formats, live or archived, and map that data to a client’s core software with the speed and ‘four nines’ accuracy that 3CEPS could.

“The 3CEPS process had been formulated to shift the burden of work from a client’s staff and simplify what is a laborious and costly process,” he said. “We have taken the costly, manual process of inputting large amounts of data, in varying formats, and have automated it.”

“For example, one private bank using 3CEPS has shown us that data within a 25-page pdf document that previously took 8 hours for a trust officer to enter into the bank’s own software, can now be automatically ingested using 3CEPS in only four minutes – an enormous savings of both financial and human resources.

“Any company that requires data and metadata from a paper document, image or electronic feed has a need for 3CEPS. Although the banking community and financial services industry are key customers for this software, 3CEPS can assist with any organisation, no matter the industry type,” Mr McGarvey said.

3CEPS is a software application that uses complex, next-generation, mathematical modelling and algorithms to solve what is essentially a simple, manual, process oriented problem. It has been written to interact and integrate with any software a client might be using as its core platform. 3CEPS is designed to run on its own Linux infrastructure for data safety and confidentiality. The software can reside on client premises equipment or in a private data centre.

“3CEPS is a cost and efficiency game changer, particularly for the banking and finance industry,” Mr Darrell Hines, Managing Director of Ronco said. “Big data, regulatory governance and compliance are insatiable beasts that require constant feeding for business intelligence and analysis to be applied to them. We are the only Cayman-based consulting firm delivering end-to-end data and metadata management solutions and services, whether as on-premise, private cloud or hybrid solutions.”

Born out of Switzerland, 3CEPS was founded in 2011 by a group of mathematicians, one of whom was the Head of Development for Sun Microsystems and other scientists who worked on CERN.
