Cleveland Clinic Florida, home to the #1 ranked hospital in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale market by U.S. News & World Report, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony to commemorate the capital expansion of the Weston campus.
The expansion is part of a planned $302 million capital investment announced last fall, adding a 180,000 sq. ft. multi-level hospital tower, 75 hospital beds and critical care areas to accommodate surgical cases from medical specialty areas and the transplant program, a 25 percent increase in emergency room capacity, and a new Women’s Center. Additional campus enhancements will include a new cafeteria, added parking, and renovation of common areas.
