The Cayman Islands Law Society is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, www.caymanlawsociety.org, for both members and the Cayman community.  The site has extensive content including the latest industry and firm news, career development and legal information.

Law Society president, Alasdair Robertson said, “Our website is an important way for us to share relevant information and resources with lawyers and the community in an effort to support the legal profession in the Cayman Islands.  The website, designed by Tower, showcases our new look and improved functionality and content to ensure a more engaging experience for our users.”

The Cayman Islands Law Society serves to protect the character and interests of the legal profession in the Cayman Islands, promoting honourable practice.  As part of this objective, the website also services the general public seeking legal representation, providing a list of credited member firms and information about contracting a lawyer, as well as providing an avenue to raise complaints about law services or legal practitioners.

The Law Society website highlights member law firms’ support of the local community in the form of education opportunities, sponsorship and donations, as part of the larger aim of the legal industry’s committed contribution to the growth and wellbeing of the Cayman Islands.
