The Cayman Islands Health Services Authority’s (HSA), Merren Dental Center welcomes Caymanian dentist, Dr. Megan Griffith, to the practice.
“Dr. Griffith brings a wealth of international experience to our dental centre,” said Dr. John Vlitos, Chief Dental Officer. “Dr. Griffith has quickly established a rapport with our patients and is a great asset to the dental office. The HSA encourages young Caymanians to return home after finishing professional training abroad, so we are delighted to have Dr. Griffith on our team.”
Most recently, Dr. Griffith served as a Dentist for Dental Directions, a NHS and private dental surgery based in Sheffield, UK. This practice has been praised for the high quality of its people development and team work skills, something which Dr Griffith is looking forward to continuing in Cayman.
“I am thrilled to join the HSA dental team and will leverage my experience in private dental care to continue building and evolving the practice,” Dr. Griffith said. “After studying abroad, I am happy to be home and look forward to working with all of our patients.”
Dr. Griffith holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from The School of Clinical Dentistry at Sheffield University, UK and has recently qualified to perform aesthetic dentistry such as Botox and fillers.
An active member of her community, Dr. Griffith has performed in the Cayman National Orchestra, where she has taught budding musicians both piano and trumpet.
The Merren Dental Center has an ongoing commitment to the development of dentists and focuses on delivering excellent dental care and customer service to every patient. “With the addition of another dentist, we are better positioned to accommodate our growing clientele,” Dr. Vlitos said.
