Abby may be quiet, but that certainly doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a lot to say. With a penchant for planning and organisation, Abby always has her notebook handy and a plethora of sticky notes on her desk to keep herself on track throughout the day.
Abby studied a BA (Hons) in Journalism with Creative Writing at the University of Chester, and she uses those creative and analytical skills well in the office. She is a proud Caymanian, and loves being able to use her work at Tower to develop and support Caymanian businesses.
Growing up, Abby was definitely a bookworm with a love for gaining as much new knowledge as she could. Her favourite childhood book was Charlotte’s Web, and she would often escape to the library at lunch time to re-read it. Although her tastes in literature may have evolved, Abby still maintains her love for reading.
Abby has been dancing her whole life and considers herself a YouTube connoisseur. She loves spending time with her family and friends, listening to music (that is rarely English) and choreographs dances in her head. She eats pizza once a week.
Just for Fun
If you could splurge on one item right now, what would it be?
Red highlights for my hair. Definitely not something I need but I’ve had it before and it made me really happy.
What is your favourite colour?
Black because it reminds me of when I did performing arts growing up, where full black outfits were standard.
What would be the hardest thing for you to give up?
This is random, I could not give up pacing around. Everyone suggest that I just go for walks instead but there is just something about the repetition of pacing that is really centering for me.
Do you prefer sunny days or rainy days?
As long as there’s not thunder and lighting, raining days are my favourite because it feels cosy. Like I should be reading a good book whilst drinking some hot chocolate and enjoying the sound of the rain. Very relaxing.
What is your favourite animal?
Sharks!!!! They are so beautifully designed and just amazing to watch. Mind you, I wouldn’t want to come nose to nose with one.
